Without a doubt, a must-have for everyone - and always a pleasure!!
As a venue, this place is simply perfect. The capacity, sound quality, and style are wonderful. I especially liked that the floors aren't made of a so-called smooth material. Floors in venues can get very slippery, and when there are lots of people dancing around you, it can be a bit dangerous. I also liked the punk style of the place: posters, stickers, and slogans are everywhere.
Perfect
I really enjoyed the Ruggero Pasquarelli concert and had a great time. I highly recommend it.
The club is too bad and has too many stars/nots for what it offers. Only 5% of people know the songs there. The DJ was very unfriendly on September 26th, 2026, and was like that several times.
Unfortunately, disappointing. We went to the roller disco. €8 if you buy tickets in advance and €9 on-site during the week – not justified for such a small space. Also, there were still children there until 7 pm, even though their turn had been an hour earlier.
Cool shop.
Awesome Bear Dance Folsom Party! 🐻🏳🌈🥳❣️ Please do it again next year!! Cheers, Andy
Security crew incredibly unfriendly! The concert... Fan numbering was arranged with the crew and owner... When we arrived, they said, "No, it's not possible." Then, we've been standing there since noon... they tell us to go to the very back of the line?! Hello? Then it started to rain heavily, a woman (from the crew) with a ponytail and tunnels in her ears, incredibly unfriendly, just said, "Well, you have to be able to handle it." We're completely soaked, the entrance was delayed by over an hour, and we're definitely going to get sick! I went back to the hotel because I don't want to get sick for any concert in the world. Never again.
Awesome, left-wing, crazy
Legendary Berlin concert club (Mudhoney, The Jesus Lizard)
Great evening with Falk. It wasn't too crowded. The girls at the bar were super quick and friendly. Top!
I was born 75 so I grew up in the 80s and knew exactly 3 songs.... Sorry but topic missed! Never again..... when you go to an 80s party like me you want to dance and sing along to music you know.....🤷🏼♂️ No idea what garbage can the songs were taken from.... But we were a group of 8 people and we were all the same..... Too bad about the time and the money!
This club censors freedom of expression Dieser Club zensiert die Meinungsfreiheit Censorship against freedom of expression is practised here
Just underground, the staff (especially at the entrance or door). I will never visit this location again
The sound in the club for concerts is quite good. But when it's full, it's FULL. Say: You have NO chance to catch your breath. No windows, no permission to go outside, the smoking room is small and propful, a single bar there is.. For a small club I find it unusual that there is no way to go outside, especially at metal/metalcore shows etc. I've never seen it in any city.
We sort of stumbled on this place having been in Franken right across the street beforehand. It was an €8 entry fee. We walked down a long hallway to the main bar and dancefloor area. Drinks were reasonably priced at €3.50 for most beers. Think cocktails were around €4.50 / €5. Service was good. We quickly found out that it was the 'Balkanska' themed night,- The DJ was playing a mix of Balkan / Indian / Turkish pop songs. It's a million miles from what we would normally listen to but it was just great, infectious, music. The crowd was diverse and really friendly, everyone was just dancing and having a great time. We had such a fun night. There was absolutely no smoking allowed in the main bar / dancefloor area but we did discover it had a lounge bar on the right of the main entrance where smoking was permitted. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Berlin! Also, there's a little Pizzeria named 'Oregano' right across the street where we went for food after. The Chicken and Mushroom pasta dish was just delicious and the Pizza was amazing also.
The SO36 is a concert club with live performances on Oranienstrasse near Heinrichplatz in the area of Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany. I saw an excellent concert by Agnostic Front and had a wonderful time.
... or German CBGB. So it was one of historical sites worth visiting while in Berlin. There is a lot of history (or "sense" of history) lingering over this place, knowing that German punk was born here and Iggy Pop and Bowie used to visit the club. This part of Oraniestrasse has also its charm (full of bars and with famous Max und Moritz eateryin the vicinity). The occasion for visit was almost very special: London punk band 999, with almost the same line-up as in 1976 (except for bassist). Deep and narrow venue with intimate atmosphere and dimly lit low scene, so that Nick Cash and Guy Days almost kicked my i-phone of my hands during the first songs. Densely placed loudspeaker on which Londoners had put playlists left little place four our beer glasses or bottles. One of my dearest gigs ever, so cool, I had eye contact with Nick Cash, he turned the mic to the audience several times, and once I, too, shouted something into the microphone. . Kristal weiss beer was excellent, even served with a slice of lemon and in a real glass (deposit is as usual in Germany in such venues 1 eur when you return the glass), toilets are like in good hotels, and it was obvious that audience loved 999 guys and vice versa. Through British punk band from 1976 the gig was so a kind of a travel into the past. I am looking forward to coming again.
Went to see metal band Iced Earth there. Good sound systems and ok drink prices. The venue is kind of a pipe so when it’s sold out moving around must be a mess...
Went there for an 80s party, and it was as fun as you could expect from that kind of party in Berlin. Good beer (reasonably priced) and good atmosphere, would definitely recommend for a night out in Kreuzberg.
SO36 is a good venue to see live bands, tickets tend not to be too expensive and sound production inside is at a high standard, so you can enjoy your favourite bands and have a good night.
