A truly excellent experience; you know exactly why you're there. The food was superb, well-thought-out, and clearly explained. The waitresses were fantastic—nothing but praise.

Great food and excellent service

We had the land tasting menu at A’Cuncuma and everything was exceptional. Each course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared, but the lamb was the standout dish of the evening. The Sicilian wine list is extensive and excellent, with plenty of interesting local choices. Service was equally impressive. The team was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout the meal. This was a wonderful dining experience and absolutely worth the price. I would highly recommend A’Cuncuma to anyone looking for a special dinner in Palermo.

Great meal in Palermo. We had the tasting menu - the wine pairing was particularly good - the choices were interesting and worked well with our food. Atmosphere and service was also great. Worth the visit if you’re in the area!

A small restaurant in the center of Perlmo. A wonderful discovery, with attention to every detail! In my opinion, it will soon be Palermo's next Michelin-starred restaurant—to be precise, it would be the second in all of Palermo—and it truly deserves this accolade. The food and service are excellent; the young couple who run the restaurant clearly put their heart and soul into everything they do. They have four tasting menus, plus all the à la carte dishes. We weren't sure what to choose because we loved everything! The prices are super fair; in my opinion, a place with so much to offer should charge at least 30-40 euros more per person per menu! They have a beautiful Sicilian wine cellar. Don't be afraid, because if you don't know what to choose, the owner, who is also the sommelier, will help you choose! What can I say? Excellent place, sensational food, impeccable service... we'll definitely be back!

Thanks to a gift voucher received from friends, my wife and I were fortunate enough to discover the eight-course "porta nuova" tasting menu, combining land and sea, at the A'Cuncuma restaurant. The cuisine's signature style is to utilize, enhance, and interpret the excellent Sicilian ingredients, experimenting with bold flavors and creating expertly balanced dishes, with personality, skill, and balance, by the talented chef Gatto and his staff. In detail, each course told me a story and transported me to a superb sensory, visual, and tasting experience (worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant). Special mention should be made of the "confine" dishes, featuring rabbit/pepper sauce, and the "risacca" dish, with baby squid stuffed with clams, expertly selected and balanced seaweed, and buffalo mozzarella extract. Furthermore, the culinary experience was further enhanced by the presence of sommelier Crescimanni, a highly knowledgeable, cheerful, and pleasant person who shared her passion with us by explaining the wine list, the fruit of her attention to detail and love for the Sicilian region, with an added sensitivity to ensuring the labels' economic sustainability and allowing broader customer accessibility. A memorable experience.

What a culinary experience we just had at A’Cuncuma Restaurant in Palermo! One of the best meals we have had in some time! A 6 course tasting menu which of course was more like 10 courses once you add in the pre menu appetizers and pre deserts and palette cleansers etc. This was the most delightful place! And the people were just gorgeous! Amazed they don’t yet have a Michelin star! ⭐️ very worthy of one for sure! If you’re ever in Palermo, Italy this is a must! It was a very fun menu with a lot of creative input! Thank you !

A spectacular dining experience. Friendly and welcoming service, an enormously knowledgeable sommelier, and course-upon-course of the most remarkable food that paid homage to the joys of Sicilian cuisine. Nothing short of mesmerising!

Highly recommend this culinary experience for visitors to Palermo. Slightly tucked away, it has an intimate and lovely atmosphere to it. Great for vegetarians too, in a city where things are very meat and fish centred. You are talked through the courses in good detail, it is a real experience I truly recommend!

We chose the "Porta Felice" seafood tasting menu and it was a truly excellent experience. Carefully crafted dishes, the freshest ingredients, and flavors that enhance Sicilian tradition with a touch of creativity. Attentive, professional, and unobtrusive service, in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. A restaurant definitely worth a visit.
