Regenboogzebrapad

The Regenboogzebrapad is a rainbow-painted pedestrian crossing on the Ubbo Emmiussingel in Groningen, on the walking and cycling route between the central station and the city centre, near the Groninger Museum. It is a public marker of LGBTQ+ visibility, not a bar or club, and it is free to visit at any time. The crossing came out of a local campaign in the mid-2010s and has been kept and repainted since. It takes a minute to see, so combine it with a walk into the old town or a visit to the museum. Around Pride Groningen it becomes a popular photo stop.
