Moeem is a small gay cocktail bar at Carrer de Muntaner 11, at the bottom end of the Gaixample, a few minutes from Plaça Universitat and the other bars on Consell de Cent. It's a casual place for gay men, lesbians and friends, and its main selling point is cheaper cocktails than most of the neighbourhood. It opens from 18:00 most days (21:00 on Thursdays) until 02:30, or 03:00 on Friday and Saturday, and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It works well as a first drink before moving on to the clubs. Reviews are solid (4.4 from about 520).
