Our meal, in a great location and a great hotel, was very good. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food was excellent. We will definitely come back.

I've been to King's Cave twice now while visiting Zurich with customers from the United States. Whenever I bring customers out for dinner, I want to make sure they have a memorable experience, and King's Cave checks every box. The steaks are outstanding, and the restaurant's specialty of serving them with fries is a comforting and familiar choice for guests who may be traveling outside the U.S. for the first time. The staff is excellent, and I really appreciated that the menu includes English translations for every item, which makes ordering easy. The wine selection is impressive, and the service has been flawless on both of my visits. Don't let the white tablecloths intimidate you. While it's definitely an upscale steakhouse, it has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where you can comfortably talk, laugh, and enjoy the evening with a group. There were five of us, and they seated us at a large round table—my favorite setup for entertaining customers because everyone can easily be part of the conversation and no one feels left out. If you're looking for one of the best steak dinners in Zurich, I highly recommend King's Cave. You won't regret it.

Great piano bar music and excellent service and atmosphere

The food was excellent even towards the end of the evening, the service was very friendly, the atmosphere was special, and the price was fair. We were very satisfied. :)

On a Saturday at 5:30 pm, we visited the restaurant at the Hotel Central Plaza Central 1. A pianist was singing and playing live. The two of us had an appetizer and main course with wine and mineral water for about 100 Swiss francs. We enjoyed the meal, and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend the restaurant, especially because of its location near the main train station.

Entrecote with fries! Superb quality! For years!
