Sheffield's LGBTQ+ scene is modest — on Devonshire Street is the primary venue, anchoring a small cluster of bars in the student-heavy West End. Sheffield Pride in August is a free outdoor event in Endcliffe Park. The city is 35 minutes from Leeds and 70 minutes from Manchester by rail.
