Quebec City has one long-standing outdoor gay cruising area: the wooded sections of the Plains of Abraham (Parc des Champs-de-Bataille), the large clifftop historic park above the St. Lawrence. Activity concentrates in the tree-lined slopes toward the Musée national des beaux-arts and the river, and picks up after dark in the warmer months.
It is an open, patrolled national historic site, so be discreet, stick to areas you can leave easily, and be aware that activity has declined sharply in the app era. Canada has strong legal protections for LGBTQ+ people, but common-sense personal safety still applies. For indoor options, the city's only gay bathhouse is Sauna Back Boys in Saint-Roch.
