Colorado Springs Marriott

Cannot trust good reviews anymore. Almost as if they’re left by the employees themselves because there’s NO WAY this place had a million dollar renovation that touched anything other than the lobby. Go spend your $200+ somewhere else that doesn’t pretend to be a 4 star hotel. Only thing good is the A/C works and the bed isn’t a rock. There’s one tiny side table to eat on in a SUITE room. There should be at least a desk or coffee table. Since the room is built to accommodate 4 SUPPOSEDLY. The ceiling in my king suite had mold and cracks. The baseboards had stains that look like either old urine or blood. The air vents look like they’ve not been cleaned in a year. The walls, floors and even the freaking doors are dingy and dusty. The bedside lamp keeps turning on and off by itself even though it’s set to on. Not flickering. Just going on and off without warning. There’s no auto time off because the other is working fine. There’s mold in the bathroom. There’s a PUBIC HAIR on the wand style shower attachment, so obviously they don’t thoroughly clean. And those of you with a brain can guess how that got there. DISGUSTING. Do not waste your money. After driving 15 hours I was happy to be able to come to a 4 star hotel and that quickly vanished within seconds of opening the door. Sucks because my kids are tired and we just wanted to relax somewhere clean. Majorly majorly failed our expectations.

Aleena, Jeff and Diane provided excellent service. I call it the Marriott effect. You hire the right people 99% of the time.

I like the hotel have the microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the room.

Five stars for the service in this hotel. The bartenders were fantastic. The outstanding people for me were at the front desk, Aleena and Pauline. we had multiple rooms and multiple different days people were coming and going, and Pauline especially helped us and was always extremely polite, professional, and pleasant. I told her I thought she lived in the basement because she was always there. Aleena also was extremely pleasant and helpful. The lobby was gorgeous. When we got to the rooms, it was another story. No safe in which to store our valuables. it was clean enough, but not clean to my standards. We had a corner room and there were fingerprints all over the window and on the back of the door to the room. The maintenance elsewhere in the hotel was lacking. The elevators had mirrored walls which were covered with fingerprints always. the weather was still beautiful, but the outside was sadly already neglected. Service in our rooms was practically nonexistent. They came at odd times. Knocking at the door at 8:30 AM or not coming into clean until 2:30 PM. Sometimes they didn’t come at all. One day they did come, gave us new towels, made the bed but left the overflowing garbage.We had to stay there for a wedding and we are Marriott Bonvoy members, but this place needs help. Aleena and Pauline need raises. Marriott should be better than this hotel.

Close to everything we wanted to go to with a magnificent view. A very good breakfast that comes with the room. I don't plan on coming back to Colorado Springs, but if I did I would stay here again.

Aleena deserves a raise! Sooo amazing with her attitude and extraordinary customer service. I’ve flown 6 million miles on Delta Airlines staying in hundreds of hotels. Aleena is a superstar! Should be a Marriott Manager soon!!!

Pauline and Aleena at the front desk are absolutely awesome! They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I truly appreciate their outstanding support and hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Both are a great asset to the hotel. Thank you, Pauline and Aleena, for the wonderful service!

Aeena was awesome at the front desk. Made sure that l had everything needed throughout my 17 day stay

Pauline at check-in was very polite and just wonderful. We needed a room change and she assisted us immediately. Thank you for your kindness, and dedication to making everything perfect.

I had a phenomenal experience at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Highly recommend this hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Miss Aleena! Amazing facilities and hotel room at a good price. Location was perfect for my visit to COS!

Aleena has been great help. I was running into an issue and she helped me resolve it quickly and efficiently. She is a gem to keep at the hotel. I will be staying here every time I visit CO Springs

Truly the worst Marriott I have stayed at as a 10 year Bonvoy Member. 3 nights without maid service. Consulted with the front desk 4 times. Tried calling and was left on hold. Down one more time and waited in line for 1 customer service agent for 45 minutes. The same gentleman that kept me on hold. Asked for manager twice. As of yet, no call back.

This place is amazing. From the greeting you get at the front desk to the service at the bar/ restaurant. The rooms are a little dated but I was told that they were working on this. The open space in the back of the property is a little slice of heaven. I will be going back for sure! *** Special shout out to Tracy in the bar (always so helpful and lends me her readers) AMAZING! and to Isako at the front desk. He is so excellent at his job... THESE PEOPLE are the reason I will be going back! thank you guys for making my stay so special! You both deserve kudos!
