Whitney Peak Hotel Reno, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Attended "Fluffy" at the Event Center. Valet parking extra but awesome. Neil at front desk was over the top awesome!

All went very well during our stay in Reno. One improvement could be, better selection of TV. Thanks again, Mike

Very good stay at the Whitney Peak. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown Reno and easy to walk everywhere. The restaurant downstairs is good and the amenities are solid. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a letdown and really the only thing I'd change. Not a mind blowing hotel, but a reliably good one, and I'd recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed here in June for our wedding night. When we arrived in the room, the drain stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck closed. We called maintenance, and waited over an hour for them to arrive. The young man arrived without tools, and entered the room without being invited. We told him we needed to grab our other dog, and he said he liked dogs, and bent down to pet her, and then immediately kicked her away! She was wearing her vest that says she, "Just Had Surgery", and she only weighs 20 LBS! His kicking her caused some bleeding near her staples. I took the dogs out of the room, and the young man came back to do the repairs. Upon my return to the room, the bathroom sink was leaking terribly underneath the vanity, as he had disconnected and reconnected the water, when all that had been wrong was the stuck drain stopper. We had to call him back, and he arrived with a friend. They were there for several hours, and left the bathroom a mess with dirty puddles. They said they'd send up housekeeping to clean, but never did. Because of this, we couldn't have the early evening alone that we planned (our wedding was from 6 am to just past noon, and then we had to drive there, 6+ hours from Sonoma county). The young man yelled at my husband about our dog, calling us bad dog owners. The co-worker then told the young man that he did a good job telling off my Husband. I am extremely upset, and have tried to reach out for some resolution, and we enjoyed the hotel, very much, and would like to stay there again in the future, but strongly feel that this behavior was unacceptable and not an example of Hilton standards. We are Diamond Members, and this has still not been resolved!

Booked room here but doesn’t include breakfast or parking for the price which kinda sucks
