It's a good place to relax in a clean, cozy room, excellent staff that always greets you with a huge smile. When you get up, eat a very hearty and delicious breakfast that's included in your stay. I must add that this Hotel makes you feel very safe when coming into or exiting the parking lot. The company I work for has kept the crew and I here for almost 5 months as our job has had a few extentions and it honestly hasn't bothered me a bit that we're staying here at the Radisson while not being able to be back home until our work contract is up. 5 Stars, For Sure!

Easily access to public transportation Hot breakfast included and really good for a hotel breakfast Helpful staff at the front desk who obviously care about a good stay for their guests Beautiful view of the cathedral across the highway (which is a little loud but not the hotels fault) Pool was cold but hot tub was really nice Pretty clean overall, room service optional Free WiFi, pretty fast

-The lady at the front desk really made our experience worth while. Sometimes good customer service really outshines any issues you may have with a place. (I wish I remembered her name) 10/16-10/18 All the staff were super friendly in general. -The complimentary breakfast is one of the best ive had at a hotel. Obviously its the same stuff as expected, but you can tell they take their time preparing it. Good french toast. -I do wish we didnt have to pay for parking, but its not the end of the world, at least it makes us feel safe. - the location is super convenient. Lots of food around. The views are decent and right off the highway, but no traffic noises.

Hotel was cool, location was nice but the room absolutely stunk like maybe weed? Not certain. And the front desk did nothing about it. The smell was unavoidable and ruined our stay. Otherwise everything else was decent.

Hotel hot tub and pool were down, rooms are okay, but lacked updates, maintenance, and little things missing- like TV remote. Entrance is not condusive to ride share/taxi as there is only gated access. Restaurant was closed.

Great place to stay if you are heading to Grand Casino arena. Front desk is very helpful and the free shuttle to and from the concert was easy and the driver Sean was awesome. Also Jim at the Peddlers pub is very friendly and made us laugh. It was a very nice stay.

Overall, our stay at the Radisson in St. Paul was fine, but there were enough little issues that I don't think we'd stay again. There are definitely some positives. The location is nice, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the room left a bit to be desired. The biggest issue was the AC, which simply did not work. The thermostat was set to 64°, but the room stayed around 79°. It was a nice, cool night outside, but we couldn't open the windows because the highway noise was extremely loud and THERE WAS NO SCREEN to protect us from birds and pests. Since we checked in fairly late, it was almost midnight by the time we realized just how warm the room was, and we didn't want to bother the staff that late and we just wanted to go to bed after a six hour drive and a full day of work. The bathtub was also a little concerning. The bottom of the tub felt squishy and almost like the floor underneath wasn't stable, which didn't exactly inspire confidence. The shampoo and body wash were another miss. The shampoo left my hair smelling like wet dog, and the body wash left both of us feeling itchy afterward. Obviously, those are easy things to bring your own replacement for, but still not ideal for a hotel stay. There was also a $15 parking fee, which was a surprise to me when we arrived. I didn't notice it when booking, so that's ultimately on me, but it's also the first time I've personally had to pay to park at a hotel. It's only $15, but it's something worth knowing about when comparing the overall cost of the stay. None of these things individually are the end of the world. These are definitely first-world problems, and I wouldn't say our stay was horrific by any means. The friendly staff, good breakfast, and convenient location helped. But when you add up the room temperature, the bathtub, the toiletries, and the unexpected parking fee, it just wasn't an experience that made me want to come back. 3-stars feels fair. Not terrible, but not somewhere I'd choose to stay again.
