Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The supervisor at that time Mr Micheal was rude and unprofessional, and his attitude toward customers was not acceptable. Good customer service starts with respect, and sadly that was missing during my visit.

Really disappointing experience. I wasn’t feeling well and just wanted a tea, while my husband wanted a glass of wine. Even though tea and soft drinks were clearly on the menu, the manager refused to serve us unless we both ordered alcohol. We explained that I was unwell and that we were planning to order food as well, and probably more drinks later, but there was no understanding at all. Instead, the manager and staff were rude and had a bad attitude the entire time. This is our second trip to Egypt, and everywhere else we’ve been has been incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Sadly, this place was the exact opposite. Would not recommend.

A decent pub in Zamalek. Smoking is allowed inside, so it might be a bit uncomfortable for those who dislike the smell of cigarettes. If you ask the waiter for peanuts and pickled cucumbers after ordering, they will give them to you; otherwise, they will just bring you the drinks. (By the way, they are free.) They also check IDs for younger people, and it is always crowded whenever I go.

I am a long-term foreign resident in Zamalek and have visited this place before with Japanese colleagues without any issue. This time, after a meeting, I invited an Egyptian female colleague wearing a headscarf to join me for food while I had a beer. At first, she hesitated and said she thought she might be refused entry, but eventually agreed to come sit and eat regular food with me. When we arrived, the venue was nearly empty, with only a few occupied tables, yet we were told all seats were “reserved.” This was also the second time I experienced this exact situation when accompanied by the same colleague. The experience left a very uncomfortable impression. My colleague’s concern beforehand unfortunately seemed justified. If there is genuinely a reservation policy, it should be applied transparently and consistently. Otherwise, it gives the impression that some guests are treated differently based on appearance or assumptions. Very disappointing.

I had a really bad experience yesterday I went with my Firends for a couple of drinks and the guy at the bar was so freaking mean and told us they don't serve virgin drinks even tho they do and they have it in the menu + we asked them by the phone after going out of the pub and they told us they have a virgin drinks
