About this place Duchess Lounge
Duchess Lounge is a queer bar at 123 Lower Main Road in Observatory, and it's popular with queer women. Cape Town Pride used it for official 2026 events, including a Pride karaoke night on 11 February and the Classy Gal comedy drag show. It also hosts quiz nights such as The Great Queer Quiz of Everything.
