About this place Marine Parade, Durban Beachfront

The Palace Hotel occupies a beachfront location on Durban's Marine Parade ? the road that runs along the Golden Mile ? giving it direct access to the Indian Ocean beachfront while remaining within reasonable distance of the Point area gay venues. It is a comfortable, mid-range property that serves Durban's business and leisure market without a specifically gay identity, but with a professional and inclusive welcome that makes it a practical choice for LGBTQ+ visitors to the city. The beachfront location is the primary attraction: waking up to Indian Ocean views and having the beach immediately accessible is a genuinely appealing prospect, particularly for visitors coming from inland South Africa.

The North Beach Front in Durban has been upgraded and it's very safe. The ocean is pretty good and the visitors are enjoying themselves and beach goers are swimming most of the time.

"The Golden Mile" a vibrant, highly active sub-tropical hub in Durban. The atmosphere around this beautiful place is high of activities. Always packed but fun to be in the presence of the mass enjoying their time here. Beautiful beaches. The water warm if you want to dive in there. With goos company, you'll never go wrong here

Durban's Golden Mile impresses with its grandeur, warm ocean water, and ideal surfing conditions. It's a perfect spot for strolling along the well-maintained promenade and enjoying a vibrant holiday.
