Great feed

How wonderful to stay in a resort out of town with amazing outback views from our private enclosed deck .The bed was so comfortable and we night gazed at stars while in the shower .

A stunning spot, seemingly in there middle of nowhere but actually only 15 minutes from Broken Hill. We have been here a few times since the recent change of ownership, not to stay, but for meals, beers in the garden and snacks. What a great spot for those of us who live in Broken Hill. It is clean, tidy with a lovely bar and beautiful outdoor areas, varying from the tables and bar on the verandah, to a lovely grassed beer garden and covered area with comfy couches. The food is good pub food, the service great and the atmosphere is perfect. The previous owners did a wonderful job renovating the old Mt Gipps hotel (predates Broken Hill itself!) adding the extra buildings and grounds. The rare train going by just adds to the atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit anytime of the day, for drinks, lunch or dinner. This time of year with the early spectacular sunset, one can have a lovely dinner while viewing our spectacular starry sky.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and warm laid back welcome feel of this resort. We stayed in a spa cabin and the front and rear private balcony overlooking the outback of an afternoon was perfect. We had our gas cooker on the balcony comfortable outdoor seating- smart tv - internet- king bed and all items needed supplied. Large built in cupboard comfy lounge relining fan and Airconditioning we loved the security doors on both front and back. Laundromat available and the restaurant bar was excellent. Fire pit for sitting in the warm. We loved this place and cant speak more highly of the new managers and their little family. We will definitely be back again!

Really amazing location, great staff and rooms were fantastic. Its an all around great experience. Really great spot for Astrophotography.

Checked into our room on Thursday at first I was like OK this is good but then I noticed there was toilet paper in the toilet like someone had used it before we arrived. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper which was on the holder and it wasn't even half a roll. Went to make a cuppas for the husband and myself that night and both coffee cups were cracked so couldn't use those. There were a few stains on the carpet, cob webs in the bathroom, the bathroom window looked like it had never been cleaned, and the dust on the side tables at the base was thick Huge cracks in the wall tiles and towel rack just hanging on. Overall I was very disappointed in this place considering we were paying $180 per night for the cabin. Also WiFi is crap you got to sit on the verandah to get WiFi which cuts in and out. The view was spectacular though
