What reviewers say

Visitors praise the Broken Hill Outback Resort for its friendly new owners, good value, and pleasant historic hotel with delicious food and large servings. However, a recurring complaint is that the amenities, including showers and the camp kitchen, are frequently described as dirty and unkempt, despite claims of daily cleaning.

The is a nice caravan park about 10mins east of Broken Hill. Nice restaurant and extremely clean amenities block. Gas oven & BBQ in the cam kitchen. Easy friendly check in. Very nice staff.?

We stayed at this Outback resort twice with our caravan & another family with a van. Loved the place, services, restaurant & grounds. The managers & staff were so obliging & helpful. A big amenities block, women had 7 toilets & 7 showers!!! Plus other toilets near the restaurant & outdoor areas. We played darts, watched the big TV screens, sat outside watching the views, could take long walks on a dirt road outside of the resort (getting our steps in). The camp kitchen was huge, with so much equipment to use. It's a nice country setting, lots of nice scenery. Restaurant & dishes had a big variety & each were delicious. Can recommend this as a great stopover, we were very refreshed for our next part of the trip.

We loved our four nights here because we loved Broken Hill. 15 minutes out of town, right on the main road to Wilcannia. We had a powered site and it was easy getting in and out. Good amenities with plenty of toilets and showers - just need cleaning a bit more regularly. The bar and restaurant were terrific and the staff very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Another fav place of ours. We have stayed both in the room and an unpowered site. Amenities very clean and spacious. Outside firepit is a great spot to keep warm whilst meeting new friends. Dog friendly. Meals are tasty and very generously sized. Thank you

Great views, friendly staff, secured car park for overlanders and huge rooms! We had a great stay, much better than staying in town. The restaurant was very nice too. Wouldn't go anywhere else if going to Broken Hill.
