Nice clean room and quiet
I've been staying at the Sturt Motel for an extended period while working a FIFO/DIDO roster in Broken Hill, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The team has been very accommodating and worked with me on a long-term stay arrangement, which has made life a lot easier while working away from home. They were able to provide me with a kitchenette room, which has been a huge benefit during my stay. Having the ability to prepare my own meals and have a comfortable space to relax after long 12-hour shifts has made a big difference. The rooms are always clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and easy to deal with. They have been flexible with my roster and always willing to help wherever they can. I would highly recommend the Sturt Motel to anyone visiting Broken Hill, especially FIFO/DIDO workers looking for comfortable, affordable accommodation for longer stays. Thanks to the team for making my time away from home as comfortable as possible.
Very spacious motel room, clean bathroom & carpets, with well equipped kitchen. Close to supermarkets, quiet location. Comfy beds. We will happily stay again soon.
Easy check in and loved the room
I have stayed here twice, but never again. As soon as you book they start ringing and texting you. They ring for your credit card details, and text you repeatedly with instructions. Very annoying. Then you arrive and reception is closed, you have to ring a number, end up standing around for ages in the heat, get some code to access your key- and the lock box doesn’t work. It’s like a candid camera sketch. Eventually you get into the room and it’s infested with mozzies. So anyway, now I pay a bit extra and stay at the Oasis, which is ‘normal’. Sorry guys, but in this day and age, nobody wants to put up with this crap.
Very comfortable and very well priced. Newly renovated bathroom and very good service.
This motel needs a total make over. Old showers, ripped curtains. The only good thing was the comfortable bed.
