فندق Tsukiji Business Hotel Ban

This is the hardest place I've ever rated among all the places I've stayed in Tokyo. First, the pros: Close to Tsukiji Market and the station, with two convenience stores and various highly-rated restaurants nearby. Plenty of rooms, and the high floor makes it very quiet at night. 24-hour staff, almost all speak English, and there are both young and older staff members who are all friendly and welcoming. Daily housekeeping is available, and even if it's not cleaned, a fresh towel will be left outside your door the next day. The cons: Although it's non-smoking, the room still smells of smoke. I even bought air freshener myself, but I don't know where the smell came from. The room is a bit old, the ceiling is slightly low, the key is a traditional key, the hallway is very clear, and the elevator is small. One day it was under maintenance, luckily I didn't have any luggage… There's no microwave in the room, so it's basically just for sleeping. The space is neither too big nor too small. Many people have commented that the bed is difficult to sleep on, but I slept almost all night. If I disregarded the smoke smell, I would give it five stars, but the smoke smell "renews" every time I come back. I have absolutely no idea where it comes from.

Older isn't a problem, but the smell of smoke is really unacceptable. It's 5,000 yen a night on November 1st. Everyone in the comments says it's cheap, okay, I must be too poor, keep working hard haha… On a side note, a few days ago, Apa in Kabukicho was cheaper than this and included breakfast…

The reception staff were excellent. The rooms were reasonable considering the price and location. My friend complained that the noise from the stairs kept him up until around 3am.

The assistant manager (the dog) was soothing. Of course, the other staff were all kind and friendly as well. The location is perfect, right in front of the Tsukiji Outer Market. On our way back from a morning stroll through Tsukijiro, we came across Tsukijiro on his walk and, although it was a short distance, we walked back to the inn together. My wife is already excited about visiting him again, so please stay healthy.

This hotel offers significantly better value compared to other hotels in the area. While it's quite old-fashioned and the interior has the feel of an older business hotel, it was very clean. The location is good, so if you just need a place to sleep, it's a viable option. I had the beef sukiyaki set meal for breakfast, and it was quite good.

I used this hotel for work. It cost 8,000-9,000 yen with breakfast included. While some areas have been renovated and it feels clean, the facilities are generally old. The unit bathroom was clean, but the water pressure was low and the hot water flow was poor. The breakfast the next morning was delicious.
