What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the hotel's cleanliness and convenient location near Tsukiji Market and subway stations. However, many guests find the rooms to be very small, with some noting low ceilings and old or dark furnishings, and a significant complaint is the pervasive smell of smoke in some areas.

It's very conveniently located near Tsukiji Station.

It's close to Tsukiji Market and the station. The building is old and the rooms are small, but the price is cheap and it's perfectly fine if you just need a place to sleep. However, the walls are thin and you can hear the TV from the next room. It might be a problem if your next-door neighbor is noisy... Breakfast is either a seafood rice bowl or a sukiyaki set meal at the sukiyaki restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. There's a convenience store nearby, so you might not need breakfast if you plan to go out for street food afterwards.

The service was excellent. It's a little rundown, but the location is great.

The staff were polite and the foreign staff were very friendly. I stayed in a semi-double room. The building itself was old and the room was average, but unlike most hotels, the room itself was square, so there was no hallway and it was very spacious, which I was very happy with. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the bed was a little on the soft side, so it's a matter of personal preference. There's a rooftop bar and sauna in the evening, so it's great. It's right in front of the Tsukiji Outer Market, so it's perfect for hitting the market in the morning! It's especially worth considering if you're planning on visiting Tsukiji, Ginza, or Shimbashi.

Even though a certain booking site says "Sauna available," there is an additional charge for using the sauna! The room was neither good nor bad.
