Nishitetsu Inn Nihonbashi

This is my go-to hotel when I have plans around the Nihonbashi area.

Excellent business hotel.

I stayed at the Nishitetsu INN Nihonbashi Hotel two years ago, and the room rate was very expensive because I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday! The hotel hasn't changed much since then, but the amenities have been greatly reduced. Even the coffee and tea bags in the room are missing. Breakfast needs to be ordered separately, and the selection of food is limited. You might consider not ordering breakfast when booking. The hotel is very close to Ningyocho Subway Station, just a few minutes' walk from the station.

Clean and tidy, though the room is small. Overall, it's pretty good. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, which is very convenient.

The rooms are quite cramped, especially for singles. We stayed as a couple, and although it's partly our fault for not looking at the photos carefully enough, we ended up having to lie down on a semi-double bed. I question the system that allows booking a semi-double room as a double room. And they charge you for two people, so be careful! Also, there aren't two sets of amenities provided, so it really feels like we were forced into a single room. The bathroom tap says it's for drinking water, but when I poured water into a glass, black, mold-like particles floated on top, so I wouldn't recommend drinking it. Furthermore, the number of elevators doesn't match the number of rooms, and if you're staying on a lower floor, you'll have to watch the elevators carrying overloaded guests go by multiple times. To make matters worse, the cleaning staff also use the elevators, so there's no system to prioritize guests, and the stairs are blocked off, so the only way down is by elevator. We waited for about 15 minutes, finally losing patience and forcing our way on... It was a disappointing hotel. I will never use it again.

It’s not a neighborhood Koreans prefer, but I booked it because of the value for money during the cherry blossom season. I’ve stayed at many business hotels in Japan, so I like Nishitetsu. The room is exactly as expected, and everything else is genuinely great, but there is a moldy smell in the bathroom... It’s probably because of the curtain attached to the bathtub. I think it’s time to replace it. Even after ventilating, the smell didn't improve during my 3-night stay. They don't provide water, and there are no hair caps in the amenities. I requested a high floor with a Skytree view, and thank you for granting it ❤️ I didn't know because there weren't many reviews, but it has a smart TV!!!! It was nice to be able to end the day watching YouTube 😆

The staff are very polite and accommodating, and there are complimentary toiletries available for guests in the lobby. Great amenities and location in central Tokyo within walking distance to Ningyocho Station, as well as Ginza district. The only negative comment I have is that the beds are very firm.

It's convenient that you can watch TVer without registering, but although I stayed for multiple nights, the pajamas weren't updated.
