Live Max - Tokyo Bakurochō
Visitors praise the Live Max - Tokyo Bakurochō's excellent location near multiple train stations and convenience stores, with some finding the rooms surprisingly spacious for the price. However, common complaints include a persistent smell, often described as yakiniku or a general mustiness, and the inconvenience of not being able to store luggage after check-out.

The location is excellent, the room is small but fully equipped, the bed was a bit damp and had a slight odor, and the window couldn't be opened, but considering the price, it's still acceptable.
Since there are many foreigners (almost all foreigners), I think it's best for people who can tolerate that to some extent to go.
Pros: 1. Near train stations (Bakurocho, Higashi-Nihombashi, Kodemmacho) 2. Near Bus station going to tokyo/asakusa area/akihabara 3. easy check-in thru kiosk 4. can checkout at 12PM with 1000 yen fee 5. Availed Twin Room A for 2 adults and 2 kids, not cramped even with 3 luggage's and a stroller. 6. booked thru agoda, you can message them directly thru the app and they will reply to you Cons: 1. Breakfast serve only bento rice box with green tea (everyday), no variation 2. Coin Laundry at 1st floor, 300 yen for wash 30 mins and 100 yen 30 mins for dryer
Pros Close to the subway station 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Family Mart are nearby Cons There are no windows in the hallway, so there is some outside noise The building is old and smells a bit (I understand why room deodorizers are provided) You have to go to reception yourself to get new towels The bathroom is very small Staff attitude changes drastically between check-in and check-out Luggage storage service is unavailable if you check out at 10 am Security is slightly weak It's not great for the price
