What reviewers say

Visitors praise the Live Max - Tokyo Bakurochō's excellent location near multiple train stations and convenience stores, with some finding the rooms surprisingly spacious for the price. However, common complaints include a persistent smell, often described as yakiniku or a general mustiness, and the inconvenience of not being able to store luggage after check-out.

The location is excellent, the room is small but fully equipped, the bed was a bit damp and had a slight odor, and the window couldn't be opened, but considering the price, it's still acceptable.

Since there are many foreigners (almost all foreigners), I think it's best for people who can tolerate that to some extent to go.

Pros Close to the subway station 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Family Mart are nearby Cons There are no windows in the hallway, so there is some outside noise The building is old and smells a bit (I understand why room deodorizers are provided) You have to go to reception yourself to get new towels The bathroom is very small Staff attitude changes drastically between check-in and check-out Luggage storage service is unavailable if you check out at 10 am Security is slightly weak It's not great for the price
