Tokyo Rainbow Pride هو أكبر فعالية لمجتمع الميم في اليابان، تُقام كل يونيو في قلب أكبر مدن العالم. بعد سنوات من النمو السريع، صار يجذب أكثر من 200,000 مشارك في عطلة المهرجان، يحوّلون حديقة Yoyogi وأحياء Harajuku وShibuya المحيطة إلى احتفال مبهج بالهوية الكويرية في إحدى أكثر مدن آسيا ديناميكية.
موكب الفخر يوم الأحد هو القلب: آلاف يسيرون عبر Shibuya وHarajuku بأزياء مفصّلة، يحملون لافتات ويرقصون على الموسيقى. مهرجان الفخر في Yoyogi يمتد لعدة أيام بمنصات وباعة طعام ومنظمات مجتمعية. رعاية الشركات ازدهرت في السنوات الأخيرة، مما يعكس تحسّن مناخ اليابان الاجتماعي تجاه مجتمع الميم.
