مهرجان ملبورن للأفلام الكوير

بدأ مهرجان MQFF في فبراير 1991 كجزء من مهرجان Midsumma، وأصبح مهرجانًا مستقلاً بذاته في عام 1992 وانتقل إلى شهر مارس، ويُقام الآن في نوفمبر. مقره الرئيسي في مركز Victorian Pride Centre في سانت كيلدا.
جميع العروض تتطلب تذاكر. في عام 2025، كان المركز الرئيسي هو Cinema Nova في كارلتون، مع فعاليات كبيرة في Collins Place، وقاعة مدينة ملبورن (Melbourne Town Hall)، و Capitol. كما تم بث حزم الأفلام القصيرة وبعض الأفلام الطويلة وطنيًا على MQFF+ لمدة أسبوع إضافي. البرنامج الكامل يصدر قبل حوالي شهر.
أقيمت الدورة الخامسة والثلاثون في الفترة من 13 إلى 23 نوفمبر 2025 وافتتحت بالكوميديا الزومبي الكويرية "Queens of the Dead". وحصلت نجمة مسلسل Pose، دومينيك جاكسون، على أول جائزة تقدير من المهرجان. أعلن مهرجان MQFF رسميًا عن الدورة السادسة والثلاثين في الفترة من 13 نوفمبر (ليلة الافتتاح) إلى 22 نوفمبر 2026. لم نتمكن من العثور على أرقام حضور منشورة.
