B&B HOTEL Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe

Construction is still underway on the exterior, but you hardly notice it in the hotel and the rooms. The reception is staffed 24/7, and the employees are friendly and very helpful. Messages and inquiries are answered promptly. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. A fantastic hotel for the price!

The hotel is still under renovation. There's no breakfast, even though it could be booked, and the TV and Wi-Fi aren't working. Snacks and drinks are also unavailable. The rooms are as described, but there's construction everywhere in front of the hotel and in the public areas, resulting in a lot of dirt and grime. Charging full price for this is outrageous and a blatant rip-off. The only positive point is for the genuinely friendly receptionist, whom I almost felt sorry for.

Beautiful, spacious, and newly renovated room. Plenty of clothes hooks. Clean and stylish bathroom. Good mattresses. I didn't see a safe. Unfortunately, no desk (perhaps one will be added later) – but there was a small table with a stool for applying makeup. The receptionist was friendly (though difficult to understand – I had to ask him to repeat himself several times) but somewhat overwhelmed. The staff there have other responsibilities, and the reception should really be staffed at all times. 😉 Our room faced Wilhelmshöher Allee and was very noisy. Sleep was only possible with the windows closed.

The hotel is still under renovation, and some parts of the interior still show signs of it (as of May 2026). You manage everything yourself via the app and, except perhaps at breakfast, have no contact with the staff, who were friendly, though. The rooms are all new, modern, and functional – no frills. Unfortunately, the cleanliness could have been better.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. There was hardly any construction noise, and it had been very modernly renovated. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would gladly stay again. We were here from May 6th to 9th, during the final phase of the renovation.
