B&B HOTEL Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe

Construction is still underway on the exterior, but you hardly notice it in the hotel and the rooms. The reception is staffed 24/7, and the employees are friendly and very helpful. Messages and inquiries are answered promptly. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. A fantastic hotel for the price!

I don't understand the other comments here. As of July 2026, the building is almost completely renovated, the rooms smell new, and the breakfast is great. The location is also good.

The rooms are very good for the price. The staff is very friendly, especially the night porter, who was very helpful. Great praise to the team.

When I finally got a room that was also prepared: everything was OK as expected. How it can happen that you receive an unprepared room – apparently this happens quite often here. The location is far from Kassel city center – close to the Wilhelmshöhe train station. There is currently a lot of construction work going on in front of the building and on the facade.

Unfortunately, the parking situation is disastrous. Otherwise, it's okay. It's a B&B, after all. Simple, clean, okay.

It's so awful. From 8 a.m. onwards, there's nothing but drilling, and it's so loud. The window doesn't have a handle and is always tilted open, so dust gets in. The room smells musty. On the first day, staff just walked in without knocking. I have a real headache because of the construction.

The hotel is located directly at the ICE train station. Ample parking is available nearby (some spaces are free for electric cars). The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but the excellent staff is doing their best to compensate for any inconvenience caused by the construction work. They also respond immediately to any comments. My request to switch the air conditioning from heating to cooling mode was promptly fulfilled. Top-notch service!

Small rooms, no wardrobe, you have to live out of a suitcase.

Those arriving by train are there immediately. There's no parking. A hidden gem is Graf-Bernadotte-Platz. Unfortunately, others know this too. A day ticket at the train station costs €24. I parked for free on Raabestrasse. Everything was clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly. Check-in before 12:00 PM (instead of 3:00 PM) costs €30. The noise level with the window open was typical of a train station – quite high.
