Beautiful location right on the river. However, the overall impression is unfortunately not so good. Everything is old and only patched up temporarily.
We stayed at the hotel with a large group as part of a family celebration, booking several rooms through different channels. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing overall. Our room in the annex was in very poor condition. The entire furnishings looked extremely old and worn, the floor was damaged in several places, and there were stains everywhere on the walls and floor. The cleanliness was particularly appalling: there were several flies in the bathroom, and it looked neglected and dirty. There were even bloodstains on the walls, and when we arrived, there was used toilet paper with traces of blood in the toilet. This should absolutely not happen in a hotel room. In addition, there were large cobwebs hanging in almost every corner of the room and on the upper walls, with numerous dead flies caught in them. Spiders were also found in several corners of the room. It's normal for an insect to occasionally wander into a building. However, in a hotel room for which we paid 99 euros for one night, we expect a significantly better standard of care and cleanliness. The pricing was completely incomprehensible to us. Since we were traveling with a larger group, we were able to compare different rooms. Another couple had booked a significantly larger and better-equipped room and paid considerably less than we did for our smaller one. The differences in price and quality simply didn't make sense to us. The only positive aspect was that we only had to stay one night. Overall, due to the condition of the rooms, the lack of cleanliness, and what we consider to be poor value for money, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.
I was there this week. We had booked for three days. We had booked the hotel and were really looking forward to it with our child, but when we arrived, the hotel was awful. There were cobwebs everywhere. The bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were filthy. I wondered when the night would finally be over. I tried to sleep for two hours, but it was impossible. When will you finally understand that cleanliness is the most important thing?
I only stopped by for a drink, so I can't offer any further reviews. But the location and everything else was more than perfect.
We stayed here for the weekend; it's beautifully situated right on the Fulda River. However, the cleanliness and order around the hotel is a disaster. It lacks love and passion. It's a real shame, as it's in such a beautiful location; we won't be coming back.
