University of Galway LGBT+ Society

The University of Galway LGBT+ Society is the student society for LGBT+ students at the university on University Road. During term it runs socials, coffee meet-ups, nights out and campaigns, and it is part of the students' union's LGBT+ campaign work. Membership and most events are for students. Visitors are mostly likely to come across the society during Galway Pride or the start of the academic year. For everyone else, Galway's community groups and its small bar scene are the more practical contacts. Check the SU website for current events.
