University of Galway LGBT+ Society

The University of Galway LGBT+ Society (known on campus as BrodSoc) is the student LGBT+ society at the University of Galway. It runs social events, coffee meet-ups, nights out and campaigns during the academic year, and is one of the most active student societies in the city. While aimed at students, its public events and its role in the wider Galway queer scene make it a visible part of local LGBTQ+ life, particularly during Pride and freshers' season.
