The Residence Hotel
Visitors consistently praise The Residence Hotel's excellent location in the heart of Galway, with many also commending the friendly and helpful staff. However, a significant number of guests complain about disruptive noise from live music in the attached pub that can last late into the night, and some rooms are described as uncomfortably small and hot.

Great spot if you’re visiting Galway and want to be right in the action of all the pubs and restaurants! Dinner and pints at M. Fitzgerald’s was also really good. It was noisy at night but the double windows helped a lot. We’d stay here again just based on location.
This is the place to stay for the location. It was easy to get anywhere we wanted around the latin quarter and very convenient to head back to the room to drop things off as needed. My only gripe is that the room was so stuffy and the fans didnt help very much.
Excellent location and very clean cozy room. Staff were great! Next door to M.Fitzgeralds bar so you may hear a little music at night but it’s good music. We had a great stay. Would stay again.
