Club GASS

Club GASS is Galway's flagship LGBTQ+ club night, running regularly at Roisin Dubh, the well-known live-music venue on Dominick Street Upper in the city's West End. Rather than a permanent gay bar, Galway's queer nightlife centres on recurring club nights like this one, and GASS is the longest-standing and best-attended of them. Expect a friendly, mixed crowd of locals and students, drag performances, and DJs playing pop and dance until late, typically on Friday nights roughly once a month. Roisin Dubh's main room and its heated smoking terrace give the night plenty of space, and during Galway Community Pride each August GASS hosts some of the week's biggest parties.
