Rubix is the University of Surrey Students' Union nightclub on the Stag Hill campus, and it is the home of Guildford's one regular LGBTQ+ night. Once a month, usually on the first Saturday during term time, Rubix hosts Glitterbomb — billed as Surrey's newest LGBT club night — with drag performers, go-go dancers and themed editions. It is open to students and non-students alike. Outside Glitterbomb, Rubix is a mainstream student venue rather than a gay bar, but it remains the closest thing the town has to a dedicated queer clubbing space.

Grabbed a non student ticket and they didnt let me in because of me not having student ID… although I had physically ID on me and my friend who did get let in got kicked out due to a fire alarm so it closed early as well so everything went terrible with it
