Harbour Hotel Guildford

The stand out for our trip was David on reception, the hoskings icecream lover. Honestly he was so professional, warm, gave us a great first impression and even got the door for us as we left. We had an issue with the first room we got allocated which he sorted out for us. The hotel itself was clean, the superior room was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is the classic room we got given originally was not great, very dated, bed looked uncomfortable, it is worth upgrading. Thanks again for looking after us, Zara and Faisal

I honestly cannot thank the team at Harbour Hotel Guildford enough for helping me organise such a special bride-to-be afternoon tea for my friend at the weekend. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful, supportive and accommodating, making what could have been a very stressful process feel so much easier! When we came in to view the suite, the team were knowledgeable, welcoming and so accommodating. I communicated with Emily who was fantastic throughout over email and phone who took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel confident that we were in safe hands. On the day itself, I was feeling quite anxious about everything coming together, but the team were absolutely amazing. They supported me throughout the whole event and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The staff we had on the day were genuinely 10/10 — Leah and Chans were fantastic! They were attentive, friendly, helpful and made such a positive difference to the whole experience. I’d also like to give a special mention to David on the desk, who was so warm, friendly and accommodating. Every interaction with him made us feel welcome and well looked after. The whole team really went above and beyond, and I couldn’t have asked for better support in making the afternoon special. It was such an important occasion for us, and the Harbour Hotel team helped make it one we’ll remember for all the right reasons. A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially Emily, Leah, Chans and David. Had the most amazing stay for two nights! Food and room was beautiful, I must give a massive shout out to Dayo at reception!! He made our stay even more memorable! He is kind and extremely helpful, a great asset to the hotel so many thanks!!this is our second time here in a month and we will definitely be coming back again!! :-)

Coming in here after a busy day as a pilot and being met by professional and efficient staff was very helpful and pleasing. David was especially super helpful.

Had a brilliant 2 night stay here while on a business trip. Dayo and David on reception checked me in and were extremely helpful and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable as the temperatures outside were so high this week. I have stayed in many hotels, some charging substantially more and not received this excellent service. Taking a pride in your work doesn’t go unnoticed Would definitely come back for business or leisure.

The staff at this facility were so helpful and welcoming! From Dayo’s bright smile and infectious energy greeting you as you enter to Hazel taking care of your needs at the bar! Their attention to detail and willingness to not only help but to also engage in conversations showing that they listen and care has made my stay seem like a home away from home. The location is perfect, near everything but also set aside allowing you to take a nice stroll through the city but also away from crowds. By the evening of day one Dayo was greeting me by name and showing that our quick encounters and small talks wasn’t just fluff. As the trip continues each encounter shows that he’s listening , open to help and definitely anticipating the wants and needs of his guest. The rooms are clean, house keeping is friendly and attentive and breakfast is available in the mornings with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel
