Location is bang in the middle of town, hotel itself excellent facilties and breakfast is well worth paying for honestly gleaming full English and fresh baked goods. The room was fine, no better than a premier inn really on the grand scheme of things, toilets had a smell from the drains like as on middle floor.

Hotel rooms are well below average for the price you pay. We had stains on our sheets and towels. Not to mention, the pitiful spa facilities. There is mould running along multiple areas of the wet spa and even in the changing room. We were truly shocked. Members shared hygiene horror stories with us from this year. Staff were on their phones instead of greeting us on arrival or departure, so it was not an environment receptive to raise our concerns. We paid far too much for a weekend away at a hotel like this.

Amazing rooms - great bathroom, spa, gym, soft and comfortable beds. Great town with many places nearby to walk and including the train station to London. Sending kudos to David at front desk reception for always thinking ahead. He upgrades our rooms, printed receipts in advance of our checkout, and made wonderful recommendations for nearby. Keep up the great service!

The only reason I have marked down a star is the parking is extra, yet the spaces are limited and it's very easy to get caught out and fined, two people where caught out while I was at the front desk during checkout. Also, I think in comparison to other hotels locally you can a far better price for similar rooms. It's only really worth the price of you make use of the pool and other facilities. Feel there should be a reduction in price if you just want a room stay.
