About this place Premier Inn Guildford North (A3)

This Premier Inn is a standard budget chain hotel on Parkway, just north of Guildford town centre and next to the A3. Expect the usual Premier Inn setup: plain, consistent rooms and on-site parking, aimed mostly at drivers and business stays. It is a mainstream hotel listed as gay-friendly, with nothing LGBTQ+-specific. Google reviewers rate it 4.1 from nearly 1,000 reviews. The town centre is reachable on foot, but the walk alongside main roads isn't pleasant. It makes more sense if you're arriving by car.

I was there for business and pleasure. Access within the hotel was easy, and staff quickly sorted problems caused by a previous guests failing to report they'd broken something. All staff were friendly, and this made the extended stay enjoyable.

Updated Review: August 2026 It is acceptable for a nights stay but really needs improving. The worst parts of the access road have been repaired which is great but overall, this Premier Inn is shabby in places and not particularly clean compared to others we have stayed in. The bathroom extractor fan in our room was very noisy and the bathroom was not very clean on this occasion. The Beefeater restaurant area too felt and looked dirty and staff seemed overwhelmed. Our friends had the fish and chips which they said was nice, the burger I had was awful. Waited a long time at the bar to be served, was accidentally sprayed with water and not offered a towel and the beer was warm. Would likely stay there again out of necessity but would eat and drink elsewhere next time. Have added photos and a video from this most recent stay. Previous Review: Stayed here a few times out of necessity. It's generally looking worn and a bit shabby compared to other Premier Inns I have visited. The road in and out is very bad with deep pot holes. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean.

There's not a lot you can say about a Premier Inn you know what your getting when you book it. In the area for a wedding so had the meal deal included. Good basic and CLEAN room and basic food. Having to vacate the room by midday was great as we could get ready and go straight to the wedding.
