Super comfortable rooms in a very quiet part of Evanston. Short walk to L and metro, downtown food options, northwestern and the lake.

The place has a wonderful old fashioned charm and it is very nicely located in Evanston. The house cleaning staff is great too. But everything about this hotel is managed on the cheap to the detriment of customers: rude front desk staff, no basic free coffee in the morning, your room A/C controller is locked (freezing during the day, too hot at night), no in-room microwave (even with a wet bar room), the coffee maker advertised in the room is a tea kettle to make some gross instant coffee…

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire hotel team for making our stay truly exceptional. From the housekeeping staff to the front desk, everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The hotel is beautifully maintained — everything is spotless, and the interior design is stunning. It genuinely feels like stepping into a charming London atmosphere, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a unique and cozy experience. The location is perfect, set in a wonderful area with everything easily accessible. We especially loved the complimentary bicycles — since we didn’t have a car, it was such a great way to explore the city and made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you for such a memorable stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, style, and outstanding service.

Do not stay here. Rooms are old and the AC does not work. The staff makes excuses and is not knowledgeable about their property. Terrible place

Really disappointed. I couldn’t make it due to an unexpected issue and reached out right away, but they weren’t willing to be flexible at all.

A little older building. One window had a crack in it, and one light in the bathroom was out. There room had a fireplace, and it would have been nice had it not been completely empty, such as a set of firewood sitting in it. The beds are amazingly firm. The location is amazing for Evanston, with it being a 5 minute walk from the whole of downtown. The people were very nice

Amazing experience! I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m going back soon. The area is beautiful and safe. There are many food options to try out, fun kid activities and the movie theater is nearby. Also, the staff are professional and accommodating. My room was complimentary upgraded due to it being my birthday weekend and that was much appreciated.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The decor is nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant offers a nice selection of food. Compliments to the Chef. Sid, our server, did an excellent job. They were very kind and attentive, and offered great recommendations. The bar is also comfortable and an enjoyable place to have a drink! My only, very minor, complaint is the water pressure. While fine, I do prefer showers with a higher pressure. Pressure is definitely fine, though.

Very charming and convenient location to northwestern!

I work at Wrigley Field during events. When Minnesota fought Northwestern Football at Wrigley Field I needed a place to stay the night because the morning trains would not run soon enough for me to make it within a good time. The hotel I tried to stay at prior (a H.IN. nearby) denied my entry because of my age. I called everywhere and finally resorted to calling this graduate hotel. They booked me for a fair night’s stay in a queen bedroom for a better price than what others offered in the area, AND actually let me reserve my hotel stay even though I was under 21! It was a comfortable and clean experience. Not the best of views or the quietest of hotel but it’s truly the staff that stood out to me. I was happily assisted with everything I needed for the 1 night I stayed in Evanston. I am glad I got to stay and will definitely consider coming back again in the future if I’m ever needed for an overnight work stay!
