Love this place...I will come back. Rooms are very clean and nice. Vibes in the evening sitting on the porch meeting people are the best. Tasha at the front desk is so helpful and informative. She will direct you to the best places to visit... whole staff is awesome. This is the place to be!!!

Charming older hotel that has been upgraded nicely. The entire staff was excellent. Daily room cleaning was totally appreciated.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was charming and gorgeous, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind (and we admittedly had multiple out of the ordinary requests/questions), the breakfast was very good, everything down to the popcorn machine in the lobby was just a 10/10 hospitality experience.

The hotel is in great location between the main commercial area in Evanston and the university. The L train stop isn’t far and a 15 minute uber to Wilmette. All good. The service is average. First, the breakfast area was staffed by one server on the restaurant. He was way overworked although he tried at least. Second, there’s just a prevailing feeling of disinterestedness coming from most of the staff - like why are you asking me to do something? It’s not everyone but it was noticeable. Also I was given wrong info on the breakfast start time. And there weren’t any fresh towels in the gym at 11am. Lastly the hotel common area is very small but they still hosted an event that spilled out into the main lobby making entering and exiting difficult even without luggage (or a the disabled person in a wheelchair). Common sense people! The hotel and the rooms are charming with character and seem to be well maintained. That said the bathroom is a closet, the WiFi was spotty, the TV system is 10 years out of date, and our AC was awful. Last stay at a Graduate, our stay in Charlottesville wasn’t great either.

Quaint is probably the politically correct term for it. Everything is nice, but tiny. Even the elevator is small. Everything is well appointed, but just small. Nice area. No parking.
