Gender Affirming Evanston

Gender Affirming Evanston is a community resource hub dedicated to supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people in Evanston and the surrounding North Shore. The all-volunteer group connects residents with gender-affirming healthcare, support groups for youth and adults, and practical help navigating Illinois legal name and gender-marker changes. As one of the three partners in the Queer Joy Consortium of Evanston, alongside PFLAG Evanston and Evanston Pride, the organization also contributes to local Pride programming and community education.
