The GEM Museum Suites Evanston

Our second visit at the Gem Museum Suites we enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious for breakfast.

Starting with how beautiful and clean, then moving to how wonderful the staff is, followed by the exquisite quality of the dining experience, this hospitality experience was second to none. The location, being so close to the transportation hubs, made it convenient to get around. A special thanks to Ted and Carmine for going above the call.

The best GEM we found in Chicago! I rarely write reviews but I have to write this one. Museum-styled hallways and rooms; very clean and spacious room; walking distance to the beautiful campus of Northwestern; lovely and well-maintained garden in the courtyard; free and fine-dining style of breakfast! Highly recommend

Great food and the room has a whole kitchen with pans forks and knifes and their art is crazy good with stained glass windows!

Very good hotel. I was there for the Chicago Marathon and wanted a quiet place to stay, and it fulfilled that purpose. The staff was friendly, especially at breakfast and housekeeping. It only took a little while to get to downtown Chicago by subway, as it's very slow, but Uber was quick.

We were greeted with a gift basket and note from management for our anniversary. I felt like I was staying in someone’s guest room. Not cold and bustling like a chain hotel. I definitely plan to go back! Breakfast was 5 star dining, not a packaged eggs, overdone buffet. Thank you for making our Anniversary Trip special! Bonus: the Home Alone house is a 15 minute drive away.

Enjoyed our stay at the Gem Museum Suites. The staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly and polite. The restaurant is great with amazing staff and the food is fresh and cooked to order. Great location close to a lot and free parking!! The rooms are a little smaller than expected, but nice. Love the amenities of a full fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The washer/dryer combo are great too. WiFi is nice. My only negative is cell service. We had to go to the lobby to make calls. Other than that, we will definitely be back.
