I went to a lovely place a few years ago!! 🤩

It was a cute place for my friend’s bachelorette!

Had such a great time at this place with my partner; got a lil hot in the am in the room but issue was fixed fairly quickly! A few things need to be repaired there but the house is Gorgeous, very clean and well equipped. Overall I will be back for more time experiences! I've enjoyed the stay ♡.

Very friendly staff. The place is clean and quiet. The location is great. Transportation is easy. One of the finest places around for sure!

Our stay was perfect! Great location, super safe. I was able to find a parking spot behind the house. Everything is clean and tidy

We will use this house again when family comes with us to Chicago. The bathrooms, shared, we're clean and big but had no cups for maybe a little water at night. The bedroom; didn't care for the stains in the carpet and no wash cloths provided. Would have loved water provided downstairs when they said they had the bottles but saw none. Charming old house but you could work on the look of the outside like the lawn and cleanliness of porch outside. Cleanliness inside was much better once we got in. Downstairs was big and welcoming. Within walking distance of our family there so thanks!

!!!!! BE AWARE !!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST !!!! If there would be negative star, i would like to give that. One of the worst accommodation I ever come across. I am 100% sure the great reviews must be a paid one , don't fall prey to this 4+ star reviews. When I booked it, they never indicated its shared restroom,when I found that and asked for refund , the employer called her supervisor , she told me there would be a mail indicating that . But i never received any mail - infact they never send me pass code also for the room to open, only employee their opened it for me - I told the same , she asked there are rules and regulation , i have raise the request in their portal , i will get reply in 24 hours. now its more than 3 days gone, i didn't get any from them. i feel totally cheated. i never stayed there, but i received an automated mail "I hope you’ve enjoyed your stay in #2! Just a quick reminder that you check-out tomorrow. Check-out time is 12:00pm or earlier." google need to bring stricter verification for reviews. Update : I could see a reply for my review, they will be reaching out to me, until now , i didn't get any mail or any phone call ( even if they couldn't reach me , they should be able to leave a vm, but they didn't). Avoid this accommodation at any cost, not worth, by paying 10$ extra I stayed at a 3+ star hotel with all facilities.

Helpful check in, good common facilities, clean room. For a one-night stay, I found Greenleaf House comfortable and convenient. My only complaints were that I had the impression that breakfast items were provided, but since there were long-term guests, I couldn't tell what was theirs and what was available. Also, I'm thankful that I was able to park on the front pad, but had the parking spaces been taken, parking on the neighborhood streets would have been VERY hard to come by.

Really great experience here can’t recommend it enough.

This was a fast an easy booking. No outrageous cleaning (there is a small fee per booking) or parking fees. Very quiet. Walking distance to the red line at Morse or you can catch the 147 on Sheridan just up the block. Best of all when I re-booked in a different room they we very helpful in offering to move m things to the new room as soon as ready!

This is a unique, interesting, well-located and economical place to stay in the Edgewater/Rogers Park/Loyola/Northwestern/Evanston area. If you or someone visiting you is looking for a place to stay on the north side of Chicago that has a nice B&B/Hostel vibe that won't break the bank, this is a great place. It's one block from Lake Michigan and it's in a neighborhood vintage home with plenty of character. The common areas are expansive and nice, and there's a reasonably well stocked kitchen that is yours for the sharing. The room was nothing fancy and has a closet and a bed (or beds), but who comes to Chicago to stay in their room? So the trade-off is definitely appreciated, i.e., budget friendly rates for a smaller room with maybe not the thickest walls; and you share two bathrooms; but in a great location (if you're wanting a northside experience), and it's close to transportation in case you want to head downtown. The booking/check-in process is all automated and pretty efficient. It felt pretty safe as the neighborhood is reasonably nice, but there isn't an attendant to check you in and communication seems to be mostly texting and was very responsive.
