Rainbow Reads — Quatrefoil Library
About the event
Queer reading party (not a book club) that meets in the Library on the first Sunday of every month. This group allows people to share what they have been reading and interested in, rather than discuss one book everyone has read.
About the venue
Quatrefoil Library is a free LGBTQ+ lending library, founded in 1983 and named after James Barr's 1950 novel Quatrefoil. It is now on East Lake Street in Minneapolis and holds a large collection of books, periodicals, films and archival material by and about queer people…
“I go here for a local craft club and it's always tons of fun. They have a parking lot out back, which I didn't know about until recently. This library is located on the first floor of an apartment building and has a ramp for wheelchair accessibility.” — A Caldwell, Google
“Wonderful LGBT library full of LGBT books and dvds. Archives of periodicals freely accessible. Hosts lots of queer events.” — Ben Burns, Google
