About the event
Short King: Underground returns to The Cockpit at Red Eye on Friday, November 13, bringing our short kings and the guys who love them back below deck for another night of dark grooves, close quarters, and very little personal space.
Built for our vertically efficient, travel-size gay and queer men and their admirers, Short King takes over the downstairs room with low ceilings, shadowy corners, rolling bass, and a playful, cruisy energy that gets warmer as the night gets later. Come dressed to dance, flirt, strip down, or all of the above. Clothes check will be available.
Manhattan nightlife can be a tall order. Fortunately, we know how to keep things on our level.

autogyro
Detroit raised and NYC based, autogyro is known for long-form dancefloor journeys where hypnosis meets emotional release. Moving between dark rolling house and deep hypnotic techno, he builds tension through layered rhythms, rolling sub-bass, and flashes of familiar vocals before opening into moments of raw, collective lift. His sets unfold gradually, deepening the atmosphere, building the heat, and keeping bodies locked in motion as the room moves from playful groove into darker late-night territory.
IPOK
New York City-based DJ and Eagle NYC resident IPOK brings a powerful, bass-driven club sensibility to the dancefloor. Blending house, techno, and high-energy club sounds, his sets move fluidly between dark grooves and euphoric moments, keeping dancers locked into the rhythm from the first beat to the last.
Together, autogyro and IPOK take Short King: Underground through the night with a soundtrack built for low ceilings, dark corners, and bodies getting closer.
