Greasewood Park

West of the parking lot off North Greasewood Road, across the dry riverbed and into the trees, runs Tucson's most consistently documented cruising ground — active at lunch, late afternoon and after dark, and still busy enough in 2026 to keep showing up on the apps.
Serious caution: this park has a long history of police patrols and plate-logging, neighbors watch it, and the city has an active clean-up push. Arizona public sexual indecency is a criminal misdemeanor. Meet here, take it elsewhere — and in summer treat the desert with respect: water, sun, and know your way back. Park hours 6am–10pm.

This park is notorious for gay men to have public hook ups. It is a cruising spot and an official location on the gay dating/ hookup app called Sniffies to have acts of public indecency in the cars in the parking lot or on the trail. This has been going on for years and the city doesn’t do much to stop it. I went for a jog once since I lived closeby, sat down on a bench once and you get stares and an old man approached me trying to initiate something and I left immediately. This is disgusting.
This park has what appears to be lovely paths that are actually paved and loads of benches and tables for picnic spots. The problem is that the park is the home of unsafe conditions. When I started walking, I noticed single men of all ages and ethnicities throughout the park. One even started following me. I am unsure if this park is for gay men and I certainly have no problem with that, but people should not feel intimidated and afraid to walk through the park in broad daylight! Next time, I'm bringing my huge dog with me! The sunset views are wonderful and it is such a shame that the traveling public do not feel safe within a Tucson City Park #TucsonParkUnsafe
This is the Greasewood Park. We walked and took pictures. There were places where people could eat and shelters. The best is to enjoy the ca-actus. Great walking with while we walked. There were birds following us. A must see!
