Venture-N

Venture-N is one of Tucson's two dedicated gay bars, open on North 6th Avenue since 1991. It's a longtime leather, Levi's, bear and fetish bar that has also settled into the role of an easygoing neighborhood hangout for the city's older queer community, pouring drinks daily from around midday into the early hours. The vibe is unpretentious and welcoming - a pool-and-patio kind of place rather than a flashy club, with a loyal regular crowd and a come-as-you-are attitude. In late August 2026 the bar was targeted in a shooting outside its doors; it reopened within days, buoyed by an outpouring of community support, and continues to serve as a gathering point for LGBTQ+ Tucson.
