On the 11/05/2024, my wife and I stayed at the Oakbridge Hotel and unfortunately I’m glad it was only the 1 night. The staff were lovely but the room and amenities were lacking greatly. The bed in the room was on wheels (which couldn’t be locked) so any time the bed was sat on it moved away from the wall or against our chargers that were beside the bed, pulling them out of the wall. The state of the bathroom was dated as seen in previous reviews but I am also unsure if there is water restrictions, but anytime we had a shower the hot water stopped and it ran cold after about 2-3mins. Pretty slack for a central Brisbane accommodation. The staff were the only positive, they were helpful and friendly any interaction we had entering or leaving the vicinity.

The only one great thing about this hotel is the location. All other was disgusting. Room wasn't cleaned properly, in particular, there were stains on the table. Heavy unpleasant smell in the room. Towels looked like they were not washed but just rinsed. Pillows had a musty smell, it was impossible to sleep on them. No room service at all. And in general personnel do not care about clients: I asked about earlier check in, and I was told that they will do their best, but in reality they did nothing. I had a very bad experience with this hotel

Staff are extremely helpful, but are limited by the quality (or lack there of) of the hotel. The rooms are a wreck and not really legal to rent out. Mould everywhere, power cords running across the floor to power fridge and dishwasher, holes in the gyprock. The first room we were in was uninhabitable. Second room was better but had the mould in the bedroom and bathroom obviously painted over

A tad dated but best value for money in Brisbane City.

Toilet ran all night, I was cold and no spare blanket and not allowed to touch thermostat. No use of the bath, and tried to use gym and it stunk, the level and the rooms, hmmm.. hard to recommend
