Everything was great. I arrived late (early morning), and the staff greeted me kindly. The staff went above and beyond to help me figure out how to order a ride and get directions. They even ordered a taxi and paid for it for me. They really want their guests to be welcome. Would highly recommend. Room had everything you need. Great AC

Casual and comfortable. Evening collective activities like hot-pot night and dumpling making parties really bring people together for a wonderful social experience. The days are typically chill if you need to focus on work projects, and the neiborhood is quite. The nearby monestary is a beautiful architectural treasure. There are nice tourist streets near the monestary, and plenty of local restaurants just a block or two from them. The hostel itself has a bit of a Tibetan theme and honestly, I can't think of anything about the place I didn't like. 5 stars!

This is my favorite hostel in Chengdu. It hasn't changed much since ten years ago. There's a lot more female staff here and even the male staff is nice. I think this is a great place if you're a female traveling by yourself. Rooms are always clean and staff is always nice. The tea here is amazing and there's really good restaurants around the area. I will definitely be coming back. They have many things you can do as a new foreigner to China. This is a good place if you're immunocompromised because half of it is aired out. I met a lot of great friends here, I would highly recommend it to anyone. I really enjoyed the calligraphy class, next time I hope to do their trips to the mountains next year

A very good, friendly hostel, centrally located near the Wenshu Temple in Chengdu. Everything is very clean, and the staff is helpful and welcoming. They offer very interesting free activities such as making Chinese ravioli and a calligraphy course. We did a short tour and came back here again on our return trip. Highly recommended!
