About this place Gan Meir & the LGBT center

Gan Meir & the LGBT center is a welcoming communal hub located on Pinsker Street in Tel Aviv-Yafo, established in 2008 as a dedicated safe space for LGBTQ+ activities and community life. The center operates on the principle that everyone, regardless of age, race, or gender identity, deserves the freedom to live authentically. The venue hosts a diverse range of cultural and artistic programming, including live performances, theatre productions, and exhibitions. It serves as a gathering point for numerous LGBTQ+ organizations operating throughout Israel, making it a natural meeting point for both locals and visitors interested in the community's creative scene. Beyond social and cultural activities, the center provides practical support services including therapy, legal consultations, and medical services. Whether you're looking to connect with the local LGBTQ+ community, explore Israeli queer culture and the arts, or access support resources, this is an important institutional landmark in Tel Aviv's vibrant gay scene.

The Gay Center complex in Gan Meir - with Alma Cafe - is excellent. The building has been renovated and is cozy and beautifully decorated. The service providers are charming and the food is fresh and delicious. The carrot cake is excellent.
