La Seine Boutique Hotel Vientiane

After lots of research I chose this boutique hotel for its central location and quality accommodation. It’s was absolutely perfect for us; a quiet, very spacious & beautifully decorated room (301) with a balcony overlooking The Mekong. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable. The shower is absolutely lovely and the breakfast high quality; lots of choices and totally flexible to alter any of the set menu options. The latte coffee is outstanding! Staff are so great and led by the excellent friendly General Manager Mr Akesh who we got to know during our stay and couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was perfect. We noted a problem with the internet one morning and Mr Akesh said that he would do everything he could to get it sorted; on returning from our day out, we came back to a perfect super-fast connection! I can only recommend this hotel; everything was perfect. Location: 5 minutes from the night market, with a view over the Mekong, close to the city center without the noise and hustle. Service: Excellent. The entire team takes great care of you to make sure you have the best possible stay. We had a small issue with one of the rooms, and the manager immediately changed our room without any discussion. Restaurant: The rooftop view is magical at sunset, the food is good, and they offer good wine — perfect for spending a lovely evening. Breakfast: Complete and good quality. We only had it once, but overall it was very good. Thank you again for this stay. We will not hesitate to come back on our next visit to Vientiane.

La Seine Boutique Hotel was our last hotel in our last city we stayed in during our Laos adventure. This was the perfect choice to end our incredible vacation! 

We had a minor scooter accident just days earlier while doing the Thakhek Loop. With road rash, bumps, cuts and bruises, we felt that our number one priority would be to stay in a hotel with a nice tub in it so we could soak and relax our bodies before our 19 hour flight home. My wife was thrilled to find La Seine had the exact type of room we were looking for on Booking.com and quickly booked it. The hotel’s location was perfect being right on the Mekong River and within walking distance of an amazing night market. I discovered an amazing “Green Bar” right next to the hotel that offered amazing drinks, good company and the good legal stuff I was missing from home! This also helped with the aches and pains from the accident. While the hotel’s location, amenities and such were outstanding, the TEAM that works at the hotel made our stay even better! We were treated like royalty the entire stay! I have to mention Mr. AKASH as being the main person who really went above and beyond to look after us for our entire stay! He personally reserved us the best table on the rooftop for our last dinner in Laos, booked any taxis we needed and ensured our drivers knew where to take us, booked a spa day for us (also much needed from our accident) and even found my one AirPod that I lost in the hotel room and sent it back to me in Canada!!! All of this treatment was superb and we will never forget it! The food at the hotel was amazing too. We had breakfast at the hotel each day! Eggs Benedict with Salmon Salsa, fresh fruit, cafe lattes to die for and looking after my wife’s gluten intolerance with ease! That final dinner we had on the rooftop was just as amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to treat themselves in Vientiane. My wife and I will definitely return one day soon! Thank you!

From the lobby, to the restaurant, to the rooms, everything about the hotel is absolutely classy and gorgeous...it just doesn't get any better than this. The breakfasts are incredible...delicious and portions ensure that you will not walk away hungry. The entire staff, especially Manager Ae will ensure that you are made to feel at home and are well taken care of...very gracious and attentive. Rooftop bar and restaurant provide a great space to wind down for the evening. Located adjacent to the Mekong on a peaceful stretch of road, historical sights and other entertainment options are a short wallk or Loca ride away. Make this hotel your first choice in Vientiane.

We had a wonderful stay at La Seine hotel. Room very spacious, chic decorated, with amazing showers and bath tube ! Beds and pillows soooo comfortable :) We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant, it was delicious and good price quality. Staff are really helpful, professional and pleasant. And finally, you are 10mn walk from the center and night market. I really recommend 🤩🤩
