A beautiful resort

This hotel was great for a holiday with my girlfriend where I even proposed to her during one of the excursions. The staff was so nice and extremely service oriented. It was not very busy at the time we were there, so the staff made an effort to recognize all guests. Each of them knew our room number and every afternoon they requested what we wanted for breakfast, so we got a tailor made plate every morning. My fiancee got sick and they did whatever they could to be there for us and make it as pleasant as possible. The pool was nice and very clean, which points at regular cleaning, since there are so many plants around it. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My first trip to Palau was a lucky one, and I was fortunate to choose Paradise Island. The service and environment were both very satisfactory.

The surroundings are calm and spacious, giving it a nice resort-like atmosphere, and the staff are also nice. However, there are some complaints, such as the pool being a little cloudy, the pond not being a pretty color, some amenities being out of stock, and the Wi-Fi connection not being very good. Adjusting the hot water temperature is also difficult. Cell phone reception is also poor.

The staff are very friendly and will do their best to meet your needs. The water temperature in the shower is very hot and cannot be adjusted to a cooler setting, and the water pressure is also not strong enough. Laundry service costs $15 per full load (a bucket or a bag). I usually hand it to them after finishing my tour in the evening, and it gets returned to my room around 10 a.m. the next day. Renting a car through the hotel is more expensive, ranging from $55 to $75 per day. In the city, you can rent one for about $35 per day. For airport transfers, it’s also recommended to arrange it outside the hotel. Typically, you can negotiate the total fare from the hotel to the airport down to around $20, and possibly even lower if you’re good at bargaining. The hotel charges $50 for two people during the day, $75 for three people, and there is an additional charge after 9 p.m.

Overall, everything is there, except for Wi-Fi in the rooms. There are better options for this price, but it's perfectly fine for a couple of nights' stay.

We stayed 4 nights as a family of 4 with two teens. I was quite surprised to find out that IPRC only rates as a 2 star resort, it felt higher than that. The rooms are fine, and the pool is beautiful with outstanding sunset views across the lagoon. IPRC is a short walk to places like Elilai Dining, Side Street Cafe and the Drop Off Bar. The buffet breakfast was fine, probably caters a bit more to Asian rather than Western tastes. Kevin, Ronnie and the team are all super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay went well.
