台中東旅 Hotel East Taichung

Very clean rooms, surprised to have so much free food included in our stay! Location was great. (Paper thin walls though but it was quite peaceful, you might just hear neighbours!)

My daughter and I took a short trip to Taichung, and this time we chose to stay at Taichung Donglv Hotel. The room was small but exquisite, and very clean. The staff were very friendly and polite 👍 Free breakfast and late-night snack were included 👍 The breakfast was quite plentiful and delicious 👍 Next time we come to Taichung, we will definitely choose to stay here again 🥰✌️

Following our four-day trip to Taipei, this was the place we chose for accommodation in Taichung. We were only staying one night in old Taichung, so we figured any place nearby would do. However, this place turned out to be surprisingly convenient, with clean rooms and friendly staff; it's now on our list of places to stay in Taichung.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a superior double room. Check in at the reception was quick and staffs were informative and welcoming. The room was clean and space good enough for a solo traveller. It was also a nice touch that a simple breakfast buffet and complimentary dessert is provided everyday. However, as a couple, the room felt too small with one side of the bed against the wall, a small walkway and no space to open our luggages. It was advertised as a room of 16m2 but it is definitely less than that. Also, on some days you get woken up by loud horns and ambulances from the road side (but they provide ear plugs together with some tea bags hahaha).. Overall, not bad for a short stay if you only need a clean room to sleep in and a warm shower. P.S there is a cute little cafe called 时光 beside the hotel that you can check out.

Great! 👍 It includes a buffet-style late-night snack and breakfast!! The room was clean and bright!! For this price, it's very good!! I would highly recommend it! This time I stayed in a superior double room!!

The overall design is quite distinctive, and the rooms are well-lit, with large windows making the space bright during the day. The common areas are also comfortably designed. The accommodation provides free breakfast and late-night snacks, which is a thoughtful touch. However, upon checking in, I found the room space to be rather small, and the quality of the sheets and bedding was rather ordinary, leaving room for improvement in sleep comfort. Parking is an extra charge, so travelers arriving by car should consider this. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was lacking. Upon entering the room, I noticed obvious oil stains/dirt on the walls near the door, and some walls also showed signs of wear. The bathroom looked relatively tidy overall, but if the cleaning of the walls and corners were more thorough, the overall experience would be much better. In summary, the design and natural light are strengths, and the free breakfast, late-night snacks, and refreshments are also pluses; however, the rooms are small, the bedding is of average quality, and there's room for improvement in the cleanliness.

The room was comfortable and spacious enough for two people. The only downside was the difficulty in finding parking (for motorcycles); there were only two rows of parking spaces along the street, and if there weren't any, you'd have to park quite far away. This restaurant has food almost every day. The location is excellent, situated in the middle of many attractions and shopping areas.

First time staying here. The room was spacious, and the weekend rate of 3,000 yuan wasn't expensive; I was even upgraded. All the front desk staff were very friendly. They also offered late-night snacks and afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

The front desk service was excellent; the staff on morning, afternoon, and evening shifts were all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The double room was just the right size and quite quiet. The meals were simple but delicious, with afternoon snacks and late-night options in addition to breakfast. It's also very close to Taichung Station. Overall, it's excellent value for money! For those who enjoy massages, I recommend trying the massage parlor on the first floor, which is a partner of the hotel. Hotel guests also get a hidden discount! 👍
