About the event

In the face of random attacks, women's self-awareness is urgent. We understand the importance of building a safe community and specially provide a private and supportive space where the coach, assistants, and all students are women. Here, you can put aside all worries and learn basic self-defense skills to protect yourself, building a solid safety line. Event: Women's unarmed/personal item self-defense one-on-one instruction and practical exercises. Time: 9/6 (Sun) 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Location: Taiwan AIDS Foundation (near Guting MRT Station Exit 7). Capacity: 4-6 people. Facilitator: Hotline volunteer. Fee: 900 NTD/person. ********************* Invited Participants: Women who have not attended the self-defense lecture in the first half of the year and identify as women. ********************* Notes: This is a practical training course. To ensure training effectiveness and correct technique guidance, there will be significant physical contact and interaction with the instructor, assistants, and other students (including but not limited to hugging, grappling, pushing down, simulated falls, etc.). Please ensure you are psychologically prepared before registering. For the event, it is recommended to wear contact lenses, comfortable sportswear, bring your most frequently used bag, water bottle, umbrella, etc. The venue will provide props: mats, soft sticks, fake knives. This event has limited spots and requires advance registration. Please pay attention to email notifications.
