A hidden gem on the river: Stay on the Sabai Sabai Our stay on the Sabai Sabai was, in one word: amazing. If you are looking for a unique overnight stay in Bangkok, this is the place to be. The Location The location is truly fantastic. The boat is moored right next to the famous Amulet Market, placing you right in the authentic heart of the city. As soon as you step off the boat, you enter a world full of culture and history, but once back on board, you experience an oasis of tranquility.

Rooms are very tiny (it's a boat). Location is excellent. Hosts are lovely. Being able to relax on the boat, watching life on the river was great.

Let me tell you I had the BEST sleep here. I haven’t slept this well in months. When I arrived, Roger (owner) was not here, but he was welcoming on the WhatsApp, stating for me to make myself comfortable. His dog is super sweet, and will not bother you. ***Please check your booking app for message from owner to let him know when you are expected to check in. The rooms are so cute! I love the Tusselberry / Magenta colour scheme. There are a few areas to lay out and sun worship. My room has its own lavatory! 💗 When I arrived, there were other guest in the rooms I had booked. The owner offered another room for me. And he was so sweet to not even disturb the other guests. 📱: I was able to charge my phone without having to buy an adapter. 🫰🏻 He has two other boats that does tours. ***To arrive, go through the market. Yes it is accessible through another corridor after hours. There is a 7-11 just a 3-4 minute walk from the boatel. It is busy during the day, but as Roger stated, the noise and activities ceased after 5 pm. Boatel also offers a refrigerator for guests. A refrigerator on the 2nd floor with alcoholic beverages for sale. Dining area outside, living area, and peace and tranquility in abundance. 💗 Located next to a great market area for Western and Thai cuisine!!!

We stayed with Roger twice during our vacation – and that pretty much says it all. The boat is a unique place to stay, but what truly makes the experience special is Roger himself. He's incredibly friendly, has extensive knowledge of the area, and gives fantastic tips that make the vacation even better. The fact that he's German made everything much easier and more relaxed. You immediately feel welcome – you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. If you're looking for a special, authentic place to stay with heart, then Roger's is the perfect choice. We would come back anytime!
